Description
So here it is, the opportunity of a lifetime. The chance to transform your working life into something that others can only dream of, unlocking doors to a world of potential that not long ago, you never even knew existed.
our PADI Course Director has been teaching IDC’s (Instructor Development Courses) for 8 years here on Koh Tao, and has achieved a perfect 100% success rate from his candidates on the PADI Instructor Exam. Our program runs for 14 days and includes all IDC prep, Assistant Instructor, Open Water Scuba Instructor, Emergency First Response Instructor, O2 Provider Instructor and Nitrox Instructor. This is followed by 3 days of Padi Instructor Examinations held directly after the IDC course. Daily lunches are included.
The course requires you to complete all the self-study Knowledge Reviews before the course begins and to prepare daily assignments for teaching presentations daily. During the course you’ll learn how to apply the PADI System of Education by presenting knowledge development, confined water and open water teaching presentations. You’ll also need to demonstrate competency in critical areas of dive theory by passing a five-part exam. In addition you will attend and participate in a range of curriculum presentations, which will equip you with all the information you need to become a proficient instructor.
Throughout your training there will be ample opportunities to interact with fellow course participants and begin networking with other professionals, creating friendships and contacts that continue long after the course concludes.
We are able to cater for all major languages and if translation is necessary during the IDC we can also arrange for this as well.
Please note to qualify for the course you must already be a PADI Divemaster or equivalent, having been a certified diver for a minimum of 6 months already. You must also have at least 100 logged dives, and be fit for diving. A current medical signed by a physician within the last 12 months is required.
